Tech/Engineering - Safety / Sicherheitsvorschriften
German term or phrase: Verlasten
From a machine manual, the chapter is called "Verlasten und Transport"

I have never heard the term "verlasten", it seems to be a Swiss expression?
This is a chapter with the usual safety information about transporting the machine/system. I can see no difference to a standard
"transport" chapter. The term is used a lot, e.g.:
"Lebensgefahr oder Gefahr schwerer Verletzungen beim Verlasten in engen Räumen... "

From the context it seems to mean nothing other than "Transport", but which two terms do I use in English? I was thinking "Loading and transport" but it does not actually refer to loading specifically. Or maybe "moving"?

Thanks

handling
Explanation:
That's what I would expect in this case ('handling and transport').

Verlasten in engen Räumen = handling in confined spaces

agree  Cilian O'Tuama: Sounds good to me. Handling as in lifting things and moving them around
1 day 6 hrs
  -> Exactly, Cilian.

agree  Teresa Reinhardt: as in 'shifting the load'
1 day 7 hrs
  -> Yes, indeed.

Explanation:
the contexts that i find this word in lead me to believe it is the same as German "verstauen".
