German term or phrase: Sinnerscher Waschkreis
"Der „Sinnersche Waschkreis“ verdeutlicht das Zusammenspiel von Mechanik, Temperatur, Chemie und Zeit."

I realise that this must be some sort of "theory of washing" by a person or organisation called Sinner(?) - does anyone know any more about it?

Thanks a lot!

Hi all, thanks very much for all the help! I eventually went with this one, although it sounds like the "naughty corner" at Weightwatchers!! ;-) This is actually a translation of the German; I haven't yet found a native English reference.
