Unter Wissen verstehe ich hier im Rückgriff auf Niklas Luhmann (1994) als wahr geltende kognitive Schemata, die die Umweltbezüge sozialer aber auch psychischer Systeme regelt. Insofern kann Wis-sen also als die „Fähigkeit zum sozialen Handeln (Handlungsvermögen)“ (Stehr: 1994, S. 208) ver-standen werden. Wie dieses gesellschaftlich hervorgebracht worden ist, damit hat sich Michel Foucault eingehend beschäftigt.
