tempering station Explanation: (No hits for Anlasstation on AltaVista or Northernlight, regardless of spelling, singular or plural.) In Brandstetter/Brinckmann and Siemens FWB Energie-und Automatisierungsgtechnik, _Anlaß/Anlass_...is consistently used in the sense of starting something (up), switching something on (which would suggest: starting/switching station). But Ernst also lists _tempering_ in word combinations. Does this, or the snonym _hardening_ fit your context? --AltaVista (English): 3 pages found. word count: tempering station Reference: http://www.korneturen.co.kr/product_e.html Reference: 18http://water-cooler.com/WC/patentviewer/patent-4204853.htm... |

tempering Explanation: When carbon steel is hardened, either in oil, water or air it is also very brittle. Tempering it at a temperature much lower, than initial temperature before hardening, reduces the hardness by a certain degree. The steel can now be bend and it will return, without braking.
