The heading is 'Remote-Ankopplung an Prüftechnik' and appears in a list of types of equipment and examples of them. ARGUS, along with Leitstandstechnik which I don't understand either, is listed as an example of the equipment included under this heading.

I'm sorry I can't help with ARGUS. A search returned everything from greenhouse apparatus to moving map displays, as this is definitely a proprietory name for a piece of equipment. Leitstandtechnik, however, is control room or control stand technology.

Argus is a company, cf. their website at http://www.argus-online.de/ac2.htm

They do exactly the type of stuff you seem to refer to. You might even find the exact system on their website.

Siemens, Energie- und Automatisierungstechnik, gives "test engineering" and "test techniques" for Prüftechnik, see if that will work for your context.
