German term or phrase: Einzugsstelle, Tipp-Betrieb
I got 'in-running nip guards' for 'Einzugsstellen' from Eurodicautom. Doesn't sound right due to the 'stelle' part. Should this be a 'feed location'? it concerns a fabric finishing machine where fabric goes into the machine to be knitted/processed.

The second word comes from:
Einziehen der Ware nur im Tipp-Betrieb.
XXIV
English translation:feed location or feeding point / inching
Explanation:
Feeding - whatsoever is definitely correct, Tippbetrieb means very slow movement of the machine, I think "inching" (from inch by inch movement)is the proper term used in English.

Explanation:
Yes, you're right - and that was not one of Eurodicautom's finest moments. Feed locations is what you ought to use.
