The text of my previous inquiries goes into great detail about the layout grids used to position the design elements of brochures: graphs, pictures, etc. It also includes one small paragraph on text grids:

Texten gilt folgende Empfehlung: Die
Schrift steht in der Regel auf der Rasterzeile.
Folge: Die erste Textzeile hängt
nicht an der Oberkante des Bildes, sondern
sie steht immer auf der darunter
liegenden Rasterzeile. Die erste Zeile
von Fließtext und Überschriften sitzt
grundsätzlich auf dem Grundlinienraster.
Ausnahme: Bildunterschriften
und Marginalien hängen an der
Oberkante der Rasterzeile.

By "Grundlinienraster" do they mean the baseline of the grid or baseline of a unit of the grid?
