[crane] operator's seat; (mobile crane also:) driver's seat

Cranes can be stationary or mobile. In a stationary crane (and in general) I would tend to use _operator's seat_. In a mobile crane one could also use _driver's seat_, but I'd generally prefer the former term, since the main function is lifting rather than driving.
