Tech/Engineering / Machine for Milling Dental Crowns and Bridge Frameworks
German term or phrase: Absaugschlitze
"Sie können den Staubsauger auch unabhängig vom laufenden Betrieb der Maschine X einschalten; – z. B. dann, wenn Sie Staubreste mit einem Pinsel zu-sammen führen und diese über die Absaugschlitze entfernen wollen."

Once again, this is from an instruction manual about a device that is used to make crowns and bridge frameworks from milled zirconia blanks.

The device has some sort of vacuum cleaner or suction device with it. What I'm wondering is: what exactly are "Absaugschlitze"? I'm rather tentatively saying "suction slits" at the moment, but would like to be more certain. TIA for your help.

vacuum slits
Explanation:
Suction slits is a good idea, but if you have more context indicating this is a kind of vacuum cleaner then I would propose "vacuum slits."

I think you might be right, because a "Staubsauger" is also mentioned in my text. Thanks very much for that - appreciate your help.
