In a DE patent relating to a Rock Drill Bit:
"Somit wire das innerhalb längs der Wendelnut abtansportierte Material, welches näherungsweise einem konstanten Förderdruck unterliegt, zusätzlich mit lokalen periodischen Druckschwankungen moduliert, welche durch tdie angeregten Ausgleichsströmungen einem Verklumpen oder Ansetzen an der Oberfläche der Wendelnuten entgegenwirken."

Can anyone provide a clue as to what is meant by the "angeregte Ausgleichsströmung" in this context.
