German term or phrase: gelasert
As in 'Top mit gelasertem Auschnitt'.
It means, as far as I can tell, an edge which has not been hemmed, but has undergone some sort of anti-fray treatment - I suspect that lasered is a red herring, it is probably (at least in the text I am translating) used more generally to mean non-hemmed edges.
No idea what we call this in English - grateful for any help.
