Context: "Wenn zwei nebeneinanderliegende Kettfäden abweichende Abstände zueinander haben. In der Regel auf dem Wickel haptisch gut spürbar. Meist hervorgerufen durch Abrieb im Webblatt. Blattziesen können durchgehend sein oder kommend und gehend auftauchen."

Appears in a document classifying defects in mechanically woven fabrics. The fabrics are produced for industrial use in sieves, filters, sound dampening, etc.

See also my recent question on the term "Schussziese". From the context, "Ziese" seems to mean something like "gap" but I wanted to check if there is a proper equivalent.
