German term

3-S-Kabine

German to English Tech/Engineering Transport / Transportation / Shipping cable cars, trams, etc.
From the same passage as my previous question, anyone know what kind of cab a 3-S-Kabine could be? Again it is a Swiss text about railroad cars, cable cars, trams, etc.

3-seater cabin

Just a guess really, but might this be a 3-seater cabin? You could perhaps ask the client for pictures of the cable cars in question to clarify, since one picture can, after all, tell a thousand words.

Ah! Fascinating. Don't you just wish abbreviations always came with a legend?
Note from asker:
I think I figured it out, David, but thanks anyway. According to what I found out, 3-S Bahn stands for Dreiseilumlaufbahn, i.e., tricable. Hate these abbreviations!
