il bar è una unità (accettata) del sistema internazionale che prevede l'uso del Pa (pascal), ove 1 bar = 10 kPa = 10000 Pa.
La pressione si definisce relativa quando è misurata tramite un manometro e tale pressione è quella che c'è oltre la pressione barometrica.
La pressione assoluta è la pressione barometrica + la pressione misurata al manometro.
Quando si dice che la pressione RELATIVA delle gomme d'auto è
2 bar spesso si dice in tedesco barü (sopra la pressione atmosferica; in italiano bar r.);
se si parla di pressione ASSOLUTA, essendo la pressione barometrica (standard) = 1,01325 bar, si ha che essa è: 1,01325 + 2 = 3,01325 bara ( o bar a.).
Questo modo di scrivere è comunque errato perché non esiste il bar assoluto e relativo: Tuttavia esprimendo un valore di pressione, per far capire subito se si tratta di valore di pressione assoluta o di valore di pressione relativa.
Anche gli americani quando parlano di pressione parlano di psig e psia essendo psig = pound/square inch gauge (al manometro) e psia = pound/square inch absolute ovvero psig + barometric pressure.

Pertanto la forma corretta è dire che si tratta di "pressione relativa in bar" o come si usa (anche se non corretto "bar r.)
