Asker: Grazie, pero' continuo a non capire; ossia l'imprenditore deve cancellare i dati contenenti informazioni salvo che la ditta X non gli abbia chiesto qualcosa (cosa??) per rispondere ad una precedente richiesta dell'imprenditore (di che tipo??). Ma cosa vuol dire? Per essere un testo giuridico è troppo fumoso, ma probabilmente il problema è nella lingua originale.

disagree  Christel Zipfel: "es sei denn" = a meno che... Wahrscheinlich fehlt ein Wort ("etwas *anderes* verlangt"). In diesem Fall würde der Satz einigermaßen Sinn ergeben. ("Vorherzugehend" gibt es nicht im Deutschen.)
