In the pre-WWII time 6 months were normal, later it was shortened to one to three months. In pre-war times first the Oberfähnrich got the permission to wear the officer sabre. For this reason the Oberfähnrich's also were called as Säbelfähnrich (sabre Fähnrich) They wear the same uniform like the officers, but only their shoulder-straps were narrower and they had no stripe on the shade of cap. Leider nur eine kleine Erklärung Explanation: Leider gibt es in Italien keine entsprechenden Rang, den Offiziersanwärter (allievi ufficiali, aspiranti ufficiali, cadetti) kommen alle von der Militärsakademie. Ein Oberfähnrich hingegen ist ein Unteroffizier (Feldwebel = marisciallo). Hier in Italien müssen diese Unteroffiziere eine Prüfung (concorso) ablegen, um Offizier zu werden. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2003-12-21 10:32:02 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Nur noch ein kleine Anmerkung: Bei Texten über den II. Weltkrieg werden die Ränge meist auf Deutsch gelassen. |
