"Diese Laserdiode emittiert einen für das menschliche Auge sichtbaren Strahl roten Lichts, der durch eine spezielle Optik zu einer dünnen Laserlichtebene aufgefächert und auf das zu messende Teil projiziert wird. Das von der Messoberfläche reflektierte Licht wird von der Matrix der CCD-Kamera, die in einem Triangulationswinkel von ca. 18° zur Laserlichtquelle angeordnet ist, aufgefangen."
