Hola compañeros:

Necesito por favor la traducción al español de la palabra "Geistergerät". También he encontrado que se llaman "Waisenmüll". El ámbito es ordenadores y periferias.

Me aparece en la siguiente frase:
"Löschen Sie so genannte Geistergeräte! Dies sind Geräte, die z.Zt. nicht an Ihren PC angeschlossen sind."

He encontrado lo siguiente:

"Wenn Sie einen USB-Speicherstift am PC anschließen, installiert Windows jedes Mal einen Treiber und legt einen Eintrag im Geräte-Manager an. Wenn Sie das Gerät entfernen, wird der Treiber zwar abgeschaltet, doch der Eintrag bleibt stehen. Deshalb sucht Windows bei jedem Start nach dem Gerät, was sehr viel Zeit kosten kann."
