På engelska verkar detta vara "milled terry" eller "single yarn terry" men på svenska har jag inte hittat någon som helst referens. Har bara förstått att det rör sig om en väldigt exklusiv frottétyp som framställs på ett speciellt sätt...

Jag tror faktiskt inte att det fins ett sådant ord på svenska, det skulle direkt översatt vara valkad-frotté. De olika typerna förklaras på http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frottee. Man skulle kanske kunna säga ”tjock frotté”, har i alla fall sett att det används en del. Lycka till!

Tack så mycket för hjälpen! Ja, tjock eller mjuk frotté verkar det handla om. Har tagit reda på att behandlingen innebär att man "valkar" frottén med syftet att få den mjukare. Alltid lär man sig något nytt :-)
