Explanation:
Leberkäse, -käs oder -kas, auch Fleischkäse oder Fleischlaib, ist eine bayerische Wurstspezialität. Er erinnert an eine Pastete und gehört zu den Brühwürsten. Der bayerische Kurfürst Karl Theodor hatte 1776 einen von ihm geschätzten Metzger aus Mannheim mit nach München genommen, wo dieser einige Jahre später den Leberkäse erfand. Heute ist Leberkäse in ganz Deutschland, Österreich und zum Teil in der Schweiz erhältlich.
