The dictionary gives 'pre-carriage' as a translation, but I can't see how that fits in with this item 'Sachkosten fuer 2001 inklusive Vorlauf aus 2000'. Do they mean amount carried forward?

or "legacy items from 2000", but carryover is the standard.

Carryforward is WRONG (i.e. exactly the opposite). One would say "carryforwards into 2002".
