German to English translations [PRO] Marketing - Advertising / Public Relations
German term or phrase:In der Beschränkung zeigt sich der Meister
I normally do Dutch to English translations, but this expression appears in my text, relating to a trade show in Germany which, in spite of the fact that other shows claim to be international, this show is really the only true international one within this specific industry. Hopefully that's enough context.
Thanks in advance!
Sorry Francis if I haven't been clear - the writer of this article is NOT the organiser of the Interzoo, it's a review of another exhibition professing to be international and comparing itself with the interview. The only pretention here is the other show's overabundance of it - at least that's what the writer's getting at. The other show feels it is on a par with the Interzoo and it isn't. Hopefully that clears it up........
This refers to the Interzoo, the major trade exhibition within the pet industry. Another show also professes to be international in nature, yet by all accounts, is not - so no, it doesn't refer to the (other) show's lack of pretention but precisely it's overabundance of pretention. I wish there were more helpful context, but there isn't.
