German term or phrase: Sammeldarstellung

"Der Bildtyp der Sammeldarstellungen und seine Vertreter"
I am stumped to come up with a suitable translation for "Sammeldarstellung." It appears in an article about illustration types of Ovid's Metamorphoses (e.g. "narrative"; "single-scene" or "monoscene???" and "Sammeldarstellung") Any help would be greatly appreciated--also for "monoszenisch".
