printing firm and museum in Leipzig Explanation: According to Duden, an "Offizin" is a: 1. pharmacy 2. large printing firm 3. pantry room 4. workshop In Leipzig there is a famous printing firm established by Günter Dietz. There is also a museum/gallery in the building. Maybe that is what you want. Here is their URL: http://www.inn-salzach.de/~insa0336/dietz/deutsch/offizin.ht... - HTH - Dan |

printing works Explanation: Offizin is an obsolete word for "Buchdruckerei" (but also for "Apotheke"). I suppose it has become part of the name of the printing works over the years (Offizin Haag Drugulin, Offizin Oswald Schmidt in Leipzig). HTH, Eva Der groe Duden, 1999 |
