don't Explanation: I wouldn't translate them. I have had enough Vienna balls to last me a lifetime, and I'd say if you have to bore the reader with them, the put the explanations in brackets. The Techniker are engineers, the Jägerball is obviously a hunt ball, and the Kaffeesieder are indeed coffee house owners. Actually these are rather obscure events. Don't they mention the Zuckerbäcker? |
