German term or phrase: GE-EN, Raumgestaltung
Hi,
can anyone help me with this sentence, please?!

- In dieses "Bühnenbild" setzen die Akteure weitere geometrische, künstliche und künstlerische Flächen, die eine weitere und tiefe Raumgestaltung der Rasenfläche bewirken und die Arkadenmauer akzentuieren. -

I am having trouble with the whole sentence. Also, I really wonder what the appropriate term for "Raumgestaltung" in English is. This sentence, and the light artist, is talking about the open space in a park, a public place, where he wants to enhance the natural "stage set" with forms and specially with light art.
So, I believe that interior design is not appropriate at all.
Any help appreciated.
Thank you, very much!!

spatial arrangement/design/creation
Explanation:

spatial arrangement/design/creation

The actors place/set/put/move more geometric, artificial, and artistic surfaces in this/the stage set/scene/scenery. These produce a farther and deep(er) spatial arrangement/design/creation and accent/emphasize the arcade walls.

Explanation:
I will try my hand although I don't get what "Akteure" refers to. Here goes:

In this “tableau” the actors/agents (???) define additional geometrical, artificial and artistic planes that create the illusion of a wider and deeper space and accentuate the wall of the arcade.

As you see, I have not mentioned the "Rasenfläche". This is quite deliberate because I don't think it is necessary, since it must have been mentioned already. This is the solution I like best myself

- but you could also say:

In this “tableau” the actors/agents (???) define additional geometrical, artificial and artistic planes that transforms the lawn into a wider and deeper space and accentuate the wall of the arcade.

- or simply:

In this “tableau” the actors/agents (???) define additional geometrical, artificial and artistic planes that makes the lawn seem wider and deeper s and accentuate the wall of the arcade.

I hope this is helps.

Explanation:
I suddenly realise that I have a singular verb with a plural noun in two of my suggestions - how embarassing!Well, here are my three suggestions with the currect verbs:

1. In this “tableau” the actors/agents (???) define additional geometrical, artificial and artistic planes that create the illusion of a wider and deeper space and accentuate the wall of the arcade.

2. In this “tableau” the actors/agents (???) define additional geometrical, artificial and artistic planes that transform the lawn into a wider and deeper space and accentuate the wall of the arcade.

3. In this “tableau” the actors/agents (???) define additional geometrical, artificial and artistic planes that make the lawn seem wider and deeper and accentuate the wall of the arcade.

However, you could also say

....., which + singular verb

in all three cases (instead of ".... that + plural verb).
