German term or phrase: help with a quotation from Cecil Rhodes
A quote from Cecil Rhodes (Essay entitled: To All English-speaking Folk): "Unter all den Kräften, die an der Gestaltung der menschlichen Rasse mitwirken, scheint keine so mächtig zu sein, jetzt und noch mehr künftig, als der englischsprechende Mensch."
Evidently, I am not free to translate this, and I can't find this particular line on the net! SOS.

English translation:Of all the forces...
Explanation:
\"Of all the forces that fashion the human race, none seems as powerful, now and more so in the future, than the english-speaking person..\"

That\'s just a suggested translation, Haven\'t the Cecil Rhodes quotation to hand..

Hope it helps!

Thanks for trying, this was difficult. Many were the times Cecil Rhodes said something to this effect, but that particular article was nowhere to be found - not even in the English translation of the author who quoted it (they abridged the book, and quoted Rhodes' last will and testament instead, where he ONCE AGAIN BEFORE DYING says the same thing in different words! So,... I paraphrased.

Explanation:
His likely title was actually "To All English-Speaking People": you're probably going to have to contact a scholar who specializes in Cecil Rhodes. I would start by contacting the Rhodes Scholarship foundation: http://www.rhodesscholar.org/

Explanation:
Look at this statement without a bad thought in your mind...........
What is the power..........the power is language, who has power? the one who speaks this language..........If we all had one language, everything would be so easier, and he is just falling back on English as the main language.
He says: To all English-speaking folk......he says nothing about races, colours, citizenships.........just about people who speak this language..........and we are pretty much right? Hopefully more in future!

Hope this was a little help
