German term or phrase: Nun liebe kinder gebt fein acht ich bin die stimme
Nun Liebe Kinder gebt fein acht ich bin die stimme aus dem kissen ich hab euch etwas mitger bracht
Krystal Reed
English translation:Dear children, ...
Explanation:
listen carefully now, I am the voice from the pillow and I've got something for you.

Had a quick look on the web and found that this is from the lyrics to Rammstein's 'Mein Herz Brennt'. An alternative translation I found was:

Now, dear children, pay attention
I am the voice from the pillow
I have brought you something

Explanation:
Couldn't fit it all in. Sounds like something from a children's play.

Dierk Seeburg: Inappropriate as this clearly requires a more poetic answer.

Dear..

Explanation:
Just to say SOMETHING: Mary gave the best answer. I have heard the German version of the poem before, but I noticed that it is spelled incorrectly (Up there ^).

Correct is: Nun liebe Kinder, gibt fein Acht, ich bin die Stimme aus dem Kissen,
ich hab' Euch etwas mitgebracht.

I think this is something the German "Santa" says around Christmas..

Well,enough said: Ciao! :)

Explanation:
There are plenty of mistakes in the original German.

Explanation:
I would like to add a thought regarding some of the comments. The more contemporary version that was suggested by Eurotrans is IMHO a perfectly acceptable suggestion, particularly since the author qualified it as a variant. As I'm sure all experienced translators would agree, translation often requires very literal adherence to the original, but sometimes a good dose of poetic license. I for one welcome any and all suggestions whenever I post a query and value the contribution of anyone willing to take the time to try and help.
Good luck with your project!
