English translation:Rework the sentence and use "ideal type." See below.
Explanation:
ideal type - A construct that serves as a heuristic device developed for
methodological purposes in the analysis of social phenomena. An ideal type
is constructed from elements and characteristics of the phenomena under
investigation but it is not intended to correspond to all of the characteristics
of any one case. An ideal type is a sort of composite picture that all the
cases of a particular phenomenon will be compared with. Max Weber
developed this technique. Examples of ideal types are: sacred society,
secular society, Gemeinschaft and Gesellschaft, sect, church, and
marginal man.

Only a possibility! Duden shows "ideal-typical"

Explanation:
Only a possibility! Duden shows "ideal-typical" but this is may only be useable in sociological contexts, I do not know if it will also work in an artistic context like yours.

in typical cubist style

Explanation:
The ideals the artist is expressing are those of Cubism. The last part of your sentence could be a separate sentence:
"He treats them in typical Cubist style." or as a dependent clause, "...which he treats in typical Cubist style"

idealized

Explanation:
Just another thought to add to what's already been mentioned. Besides Oxford's suggestion of "idealized" as one possible translation, "ideal-typical" being the other, I was reminded by the mention of "stereometric bodies . . cubes," etc. of the "solid"ness and geometry of Greek architecture and the attempt there to reflect the "classical ideal" in art. With the Kouros figure, early Greek sculptors "idealized" the human form according to their perception of the "ideal." I don't know the artist you're dealing with, but perhaps he is attempting the same.
