It reads this way:

"Auf einem Felsen hoch über der Stadt Quedlinburg im alten Harzgau steht eine Kaiserpfalz, die schaut rundum in das blühende, fruchtbare Land vom fernblauenden Hackelforst und vom Huywald im Norden bis zu dem langhingestreckten Kamme des Gebirges, der den Blick im Süden begrenzt."

Forst means forest and the name of the forest is Hackel. (don't ask me why, please).
It must be a forest of BLUE FIR, and I would say:
"from the shining-blue Hackel forest in the distance and the Huy forest in the north up to the....
