I have a text relating to battery chargers, and this is supposed to be a generic term for a type of battery:
"...für Blei-, Säure-, Gel- und Vliesbatterien geeignet".

The Internet is - for once - no help at all (google hasn't even heard of the word!); is anyone out there familiar with this term, please?
