Anfahrhilfe mit Restdruckhaltung

English translation: Traction assist for residual pressure

German to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Automotive / Cars & Trucks / ECAS system diagnosis
German term or phrase: Anfahrhilfe mit Restdruckhaltung
The term "Restdruckhaltung" is used in the context of error messages regarding diagnosis of low-speed traction control for HGVs. Is there anyone familiar with this system who can offer an alternative to "maintaining residual pressure".

Suggestions very much appreciated.

Thank you Vez and Colin for your comments. Wabco uses "traction help" but the more problematic term was "Restdruckhaltung" for maintaining residual pressure in bellows. It seems that this needs to be spelt out.

neutral  Colin Newberry: Haven't got round to checking "Restdruckhaltung" yet (only just got up and been out with the dog), but these "Hilfen" are usually called "assistants" in automotive.
