German to English translations [PRO] Marketing - Automotive / Cars & Trucks
German term or phrase:Zwei Herzen schlagen in seiner Brust
I know that meaning of this expression in German is:
Jemand mag / liebt zwei Dinge gleichermaßen, kann diese aber nicht immer miteinander vereinbaren.
However, I cannot seem to come up with an equivalent English expression or a catchy saying that would work in this context.
This is essentially a marketing text with a few technical details from an automotive magazine about a station wagon that performs like a sports car.
You're right, maybe it would have been better to make this a for-points questions. This is the first time I've asked a non-for-points question, and my reasoning was that this wasn't a technical term, per se, and so there is really no "right" answer.
I don't suppose I can change it now, though, so I'll just have to do it next time.
If you are asking people to come up with catchy and creative answers (which Proz contributors are very good at), I would have thought a few points for the best answer would encourage the creative juices to flow!

Asker: Thanks for your suggestion, Chetan! I haven't yet decided if I want to stay with the "hear" theme, but if I do, this will work nicely.
