German term or phrase: Kupplung 4-fach
I am translating a list of material names/ component names for the master data for vehicle parts. The document is for a company that specialises in vehicle bodies.

One phrase is
"Kupplung 4-Fach"

Is it obvious to anyone what sort of Kupplung they are referring to? There is no more context I'm afraid as the phrases are in no particular order.

4-way plug
Explanation:
Really Louise, you must give us the terms on either side; that might well give us a lead as to what sector of the car you're looking at - the electrics, the engine, brakes, whatever. This might be a plug for the radio aerial, or part of the clutch assembly, otherwise...

AAE, this cannot be much more than a gues.

Then I'd think it were far less likely to have anything to do with the clutch. Thanks for the extra - it did help, honest...
