German term or phrase: lastschaltbar umgeschaltet werden.
"da sonst die Bereichsgruppe GP nicht lastschaltbar umgeschaltet werden könnte." I am unable to figure out what "lastschaltbar umgeschaltet werden" can mean here. Ordinarily lastschaltbar has to do with power shifting, but I am stumped in this context & would be grateful for any assistance. This appears in a patent having to do with transmissions.Turn social sharing on.

With a pulley guiding the chain, ramps in the cogs, hardened pins in the chain, the current rear derailleur set up is fine for shifting under load. Keep in mind that the chain feeding into the derailleur is not under pressure so it's easier to move the chain sideways at the rear. I shift under 100% load regularly.

16 jul. 2017 - It depends on your transmission. Some internal gear hubs, for example, are perfectly happy being shifted at a standstill. For a derailleur based system, you should shift while in motion while pedaling lightly. It isn't ideal to shift under load, and shifts will be sloppier under load typically. The question of when ...
