consumer research Explanation: with "Konsumenten" being the consumer part and "Forschung" research. As a confirmation of sorts, since the compound isn't in any dictionaries that I could mention (not in my Romain, for example), the Northern Light Search engine showed 10 hits for sites that had both the German and the English versions of the term(s).
