Bus/Financial
German term or phrase: Aufgabenkatalog
This is the title of an attachment to a Master Contract for warehousing.
The Aufgabenkatalog details, by type of merchandise, the individual steps that need to be taken from receiving to delivering to the recipient. I thought: "Standard Operating Instructions for Merchandise Handling".
Does anybody have a beter term? Thanks.

Explanation:
I don't know if I have a better solution, but I can certainly think of a couple of simpler ones:

catalogue of tasks

list of tasks

task(s) lists (since the Aufgabenkatalog seems to consist of a list of tasks for each merchandise)

I can understand your temptation to be specific, but why should you be? "Aufgabenkatalog" isn't!

"Instructions for processing and handling various goods categories"

Explanation:
Hamblock/Wessels gives "set of objectives" "set of targets" which does not sound good to me at all. Other online and printed dictionary sources had nothing.

There might be some difficulties with your suggestion:

"standard" - do we know these instructions are standard?

"operating" - could sound too military

"merchandise" - do we know it is all merchandise, or might some more general word like "goods", "articles", "items", "materials" or "stock" be safer?

"handling" - is it all handling, or is office work also to be done?

I might modify your suggestion as follows:

"Instructions for processing and handling items to be stored"

or

"Instructions for processing and handling various goods categories"

or

"Instructions for the storage and processing of various goods/merchandise/articles/etc."
