German term or phrase: zur ganzheitlichen Standortbestimmung
...in the phrase "Entwicklung eines Beratungsproduktes zur ganzheitlichen Standortbestimmung des Projektmanagements" in a list of the achievements of a consultant.

Development of a consultancy product....integral position definition?
But what would that mean!!!

Appreciate the help, a few more to come!

English translation:integrated project management orientation
Explanation:
the whole phrase: "development of a consultancy product for integrated project management orientation"....'Standortbestimmung' seems to be usually used with regard to fixing spatial location, so perhaps the use of orientation would be technically weak enough (or strong, if you prefer)to fit your context. I think assessment sounds too definite for Standortbestimmung. Maybe my answer is too noun-heavy, but I don't have the time to amend it. HTH

holistic location determination

Explanation:
I have often had to translate ganzheitlich for German companies and holistic seems to be the natural equivalent, without wishing to steop on anybody's toes, the phrase shall we say has a touch of jargon about it.

for an overall solution to the localization (of the project management)

Explanation:
to me holistic definitely sounds too filosofical.
'Overall' sounds quite right to my ears

Explanation:
develop(ment of) a project management overall standard assessment method

or, if you would like less compact version:

develop(ment of) a method for the assessment of project management overall standard

or even:

develop(ment of) a method for the assessment of the overall standard of project management

Personally, I prefer the first version and would avoid version 3 as too heavy although correct.

>>I developed a consulting product that facilitates the selection of the best locations for all phas

Explanation:
The first question is what could he writer possibly mean by that? What location(s) could be in question during the management of a project? The locations of the project, of the project management, or both/all? How could these locations --- or their determination be ganzheitlich, or not? Some possible answers: The locations could involve any or all phases of the project and/or of its management, though the sentence suggests the location of the management rather than the project. The determination could be partial or comprehensive -- “end to end” . It could also be seamless, including for instance all locations involved in the logistics, not just the main locations. And why would the locations, be good or not so good? Without further context, we don’t really know precicely which of these are meant, but we can guess. So we have to configure a sentence that addresses these possibilities as concisely and clearly as possible, keeping in mind the writer’s objective of marketing his/her skills and experience.

>>I developed a consulting product that facilitates the selection of the best locations for all phases of a project to meet or exceed all project objectives.<< [at the lowet possible cost, in the shortest possible time -- whichever is more important]

Implicitly, this would include the locations of the project management, but that probably wouldn't be the main issue.

comprehensive location determination

Explanation:
I have my troubles with German genitive sentences. Is it "of project management" or "by project management"?

Assuming "of":

"Development of a consultancy product for the comprehensive determination of project management location"

With the meaning: He developed a consultancy solution to help organizations make the decision about where to locate the management of projects.

Assuming "by":

"Development of a consultancy product for comprehensive location determination by project management"

With the meaning: He developed a consultancy solution to help project management make location decisions.

As far as "holistic" goes, I wouldn't use it either because the medicine, philosophy and psychiatry connotation is too strong. I ran the term through Google and it looked like over 95% of the hits had nothing to do with business. "Comprehensive" is a near-synonym and much more often used in business writing.

…developed a consulting product to facilitate the overall approach to project management

Explanation:
You might want to play around with this or find a more elegant phrase, but in this context, Standortbestimmung does not refer to the selection of a physical location, but to the definition of a (theoretical or philosophical) position.
Standortbestimmung = definition of a (theoretical) position (or approach)

Explanation:
1. I absolutely agree with uel regarding 'Standortbestimmung' in this context

2. For 'ganzheitlidh', here you could use comprenensive, unified, consistent Since the whole text is high jargon (I didn't say pompous...), you can consider that you have a certain amount of freedom in you choice, as long as it sounds good.
