German to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial
German term or phrase: Evidenthaltung
As in "Evidenthaltung des Zahlungsverkehrs" and "Evidenthaltung von Zahlungszielen."
Cami Townsend
English translation:keeping current
Explanation:
According to Duden, Evidenthaltung is Austrian "officialese":

Evidenz, die; - (Deutlichkeit, völlige Klarheit); in Evidenz halten (österr. Amtsspr. auf dem Laufenden halten, registrieren)
(c) Dudenverlag.

A quick search on Evidenthaltung would bear out both "keeping current" or "keeping up-to-date" as well as "register". In the context of payments, keeping current seems to make more sense.

"Keeping current" worked with the payments. When the context was payment terms, the idea of transparency fit bitter. Wish I could give points to more than one answer. Thanks to all three contributors.
