German term or phrase: Pflegeschein
This is mentioned in a contract covering maintenance of software. All specific details are described as being set out in the Pflegeschein. Is there an specific term for this?
technical support agreement
Explanation:
pflegen = to take care of something. In this context, I would say technical support of a computer system.
Schein = voucher, paper. Again, you wouldn't translate literally. So, it's a contract, an agreement, a document, etc.

I do quite a bit of translation work in the area of software localization.

agree  Narasimhan Raghavan: technical support document fits in nicely with the Pflegeschein I am translating just now. It is covered in a framework agreement

disagree  Stephen Hunter: Pflegeschein = not contract itself but a certificate thereof, detailing parties to the contract, etc.

software maintenance agreement - specifications

Explanation:
Or
specifications for a software maintenance agreement

The only description of a Pflegeschein I could find is below:
Leistungsbeschreibung (Pflegeschein),
www.vsw-berlin.com/wartung.htm

From this (and from your description) it sounds as if the exact specs are set forth in the Pflegeschein, and then the maintenance agreement is entered.
There may not be an exact equivalent, that's why I'd suggest using a phrase like "specifications for a software maintenance agreement".

Maintenance Certificate

Explanation:
Schein=certificate (Bescheinigung)
Pflege=techn. care, maintenance, upkeep

This all from Muret-Sanders. I would not
call it agreement, because you are already dealing with a contract.
