German term or phrase: anrechnen and whole sentence!
I would be grateful for help with this sentence with contains innocent looking words, but I can't put it together sensibly: "Vereinbart ist, dass jede freiwillige Gehaltserhöhung als Vorziehung der darauf folgenden Erhöhung des Mindest- bzw. Ist-Gehaltes, die durch Kollektivvertrag oder Gesetz erfolgt, gilt und auf diese anzurechnen ist"
The context is a contract of employment after naming a fixed salary for the new employee. Thanks in advance.

Explanation:
Here's another suggestion for the wording of the clause:

Any increases in the Employee's salary that are made voluntarily by the Employer shall be considered advance payment of and shall therefore be offset against any future increases in salary which are mandated either through collective bargaining agreement or by law.

offset

Explanation:
It is agreed that any voluntary payrise in advance of a subsequent rise of the minimum pay or the existing pay, awarded through collective bargaining or by law, must be offset against the the voluntary pay

It might be wages or salary according to the job in question. I am not a native English speaker, so there might be better ways of putting it. But the big idea is: If the employee already had a pay rise before a general pay rise is given by law, then the employee will get accordingly less of a rise the 2nd time.
Good luck.

to be taken into account

Explanation:
I suggest something along this line:

It is agreed that each voluntary salary increase is to be considered an advance against the subsequent increase of the minimum respectively actual salary through a collective agreement or by law and must therefore be taken into account accordingly against the voluntary increase.

counted toward

Explanation:
Roughly:
It is agreed that every optional salary increase is considered an advance on subsequent increases in minimum or actual salary arising from collective agreement or by law, and the optional salary increases will be counted toward any subsequent increases.
Hope this helps!
