German term or phrase: Anschlagklotze
'Fronthydraulikarme passten nicht in vorhandenem Gewicht, da die angeschweißte Anschlagklotze der Hubarme den Durchgang verengten - Im Eigenleistung entfernt, dann passte es.'
These are the words of a farmer who is describing a problem he has experienced with his tractor. I would be interested in your ideas about a translation of 'Anschlagklotze' but also about what is happening here.

Stop, end stop block(s)
Explanation:
This is obviously not a very easy to understand description of a situation - more context would be helpful - here is what I got out of it:

... he is talking about some type of stops or stop blocks of the hydraulic lifting arms, which were welded on and prevented the (unobstructed)passing of the lifting arms ...

... after he removed them (the stops?)himself things seemed to fit ...

Anschlag = stop, end stop
Klotz = block
Eigenleistung = to do something yourself

I hope this helps some.

stop blocks

Explanation:
these are blocks welded to a frame, to stop the tractor arm for instance from going beyond a certain position.
