German term or phrase: Puffer-Stundenkonto
I am having problems translating the above term which appears in an agreement on employee compensation. The sentence is: Jeder Mitarbeiter hat sich ein monatliches Puffer-Stundenkonto in Hoehe von 20 Stunden zu erarbeiten. What does Puffer-Stundenkonto entail??
Anthony
English translation:positive hour buffer account
Explanation:

It might not be the pay that goes into the buffer account but rather the hours. The employee could perhaps have hours off within the framework of a flextime (US) flexitime (UK) system as soon as she/he has accumulated 20 hours in her/his positive hour buffer account.

hourly buffer account, hourly draw account

Explanation:
Apparently, employees have to work 20 hours and have this pay put into a buffer account (a draw or escrow account) One would guess against which certain charges can be billed, though there is no context to explain what kind.
