to defend and save [person] harmless against claims ...

Explanation:
I just had it in a contract of mine again (this is actually the original quote from the original English contract I was working on).

"holding harmless and non-actionable" or "indemnification and holding non-actionable"

Explanation:
As far as I know, Schadlosstellung = Schadloshaltung

Hamblock/Wessels – Großwörterbuch Wirtschaftsenglisch: Schadloshaltung = indemnification or indemnity or recourse or recoupment

Romain – Wörterbuch der Rechts- und Wirtschaftssprache: Schadlosstellung = Schadloshaltung = indemnification

Reinhart von Eichborn – Der kleine Eichborn: Schadloshaltung = damage indemnification or indemnity or compensation or recoupment or recourse

Zahn – Wörterbuch Bank- und Börsenwesen: Indemnification or holding harmless

Klaglosstellung =

Hamblock/Wessels – Großwörterbuch Wirtschaftsenglisch: depriving of a cause of action

Putting them together again, you might write:

"indemnification and holding non-actionable"

or

"holding harmless and non-actionable"

On the matter of "actionable"

Explanation:
I would like to add that a person cannot normally be "held non-actionable". "Actionable" is a word used only with causes, acts, situations, etc. but not for people.

Wrong choice

Explanation:
Indemnify and Hold harmless both have the same meaning - in other words, if you use this version, you will only have a "double translation" of "schadlos" but not "klaglos".
