2. Renten der Rentenversicherung wegen Alters oder verminderter Erwerbsfähigkeit, die Erziehungsrente, ...'

There is more, from which I conclude, that it includes any pension received from(government controlled, and compulsory) social insurance.

Benefits from private insurance would fall under Erwerbseinkommen.
