Bus/Financial
German term or phrase: übersichtlich
This is a wonder German adjective that says it all. I haven't been able to find an equivalent English word. "Clear" doesn't do the same thing. Example: a new software program has "eine übersichtliche Taskbar"

Clearly arranged is the most general purpose translation. I wasn't only looking for something to modify taskbar. Thanks to everyone.

easy-to-use

Explanation:
I did a search to see how taskbars are being described, and found:
... access the Internet and your favorite applications
from one easy-to-use taskbar.

It's not what the German SAYS, but because it's such an all-purpose word, there are many English possibilities. You could also try "uncluttered", another one I saw when searching.

One or other of these is probably what the German MEANS.

intuitive

Explanation:
A gree with the above contributions, but don't get carried away using it as a modifier for task bar. Out of 6000 hits for intuitive +taskbar, there were only 2 for "intuitive taskbar". Instead:
-using the new Start button and Taskbar an intuitive way to run and manage programs and utilities
-the most intuitive out there.. being run in the Windows taskbar
-Intuitive or not, the way the Taskbar works is ideally suited for modern PC operation
-It would not only be more consistent and intuitive to have a document taskbar
The simplified user interface is consistent and intuitive because the Taskbar is always visible
-The Taskbar is another big change and improvement over Windows 3.1. Think of it like an intuitive Task Switcher
-TASKBAR, which can usually be found at the bottom of the screen It displays a START button, which is the intuitive place to begin
-residing in your Windows taskbar. It was designed to help you ... Random play. Direct track access via intuitive menu

a nearly unlimited number of combinations

Explanation:
Your customer might be trying to sell this program or might be writing about the features of someone else's program.

Depending on how much hokey you think the customer would like, the number of combinations is nearly unlimited, such as:

"… a(n) (intuitive) taskbar that is easy to understand and use …"

"… a well-arranged intuitive taskbar …"

"… a clearly-arranged taskbar that is easy to use

"… a well-organized taskbar, designed for (easy) intuitive use …"

and so on and on and on.

HTH
