German to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial
German term or phrase: Vertriebsorganisation
Sales organisation doesn't do much for me. Anyone got any better ideas?
Julie
English translation:It depends!
Explanation:
It depends on where you emphasis is. If the emphasis on the physical, logistic distribution of the products, then "distribution organization" is great. If the organization is more concerned with getting some fool to buy the darned things, then you should use "sales organization". "Marketing organization" could be dangerous because many companies have two departments, one for sales and another for marketing. By the way, NODE shows "organization" as the first spelling and "organisation" as the second.
