German to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general)
German term or phrase:Firma/OE
The term occurs in a distribution list for a specification book. There is a distribution key (Verteilerschlüssel) with boxes on one line, each filled with a number, and on the same line a place to enter "Firma/OE". I know what "Firma" means, but "OE" has me stumped.
In the context I am pretty sure that Organizationseinheit is corrrect. The list of engineering/technical specifications comes later. This comes between a box relating to numbers of versions and the impressum. Since the information in the document is to be treated confidentially by those receiving it, my guess here is that this box (described as "Verteiler" is to have a list of recipients, in which case Company/Department would be appropriate. appropriate.
