German to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general)
German term or phrase:WVÖ
This is a "Serviceeinheit" or Service Unit in an Appendix to articles of association from 1997 - the other units include the normal things: Personnel, Production, TQM - but I am stuck with this, and there is no other context.
Odd coincidence. I have the same abbreviation - right under SU Werksinformation - at the end of an Altlasten-blighted Gesellschaftsvertrag dated 1997 of a GmbH &Co KG = limited partnership which, unless an LLP, has a Partnership Agreement (Deed) or Articles of Partnership vs. Association of a company, namely place of business vs. reg. off.; partnership purpose vs. co. object(s); partners vs. shareholders; contributions vs. shares.
Ökologie is a possibility as a related document is about Altlasten - although this is really just a list of service units in an appendix - I'll just send it back to the client, who will, I assume, either know or not care! Thanks so much for the research!
Thanks for trying! I'll let the client know that I don't know. I suspected the Ö might be Austrian, too, but didn't get any further. Also tried with WerksvertragsXXX... or something. It's a scrappy pdf, but must definitely an Ö!
