Hallo,

ich hab noch eine Frage für euch und hier ist der Text:

Engagiert ist PSB in einer strukturellen Zusammenarbeit mit vielen nationalen und internationalen Forschungsinstitute in den Bereichen angewandter Genetik und Genomik sowie Pflanzenpathologie und -physiologie. Um die entsprechenden wissenschaftlichen Forschungen und finanziellen Ressourcen WEITERZUGEBEN ist es wichtig, an europäischen und anderen internationalen Wettbewerben teilzunehmen.

Das Verb kenne ich schon und seine Bedeutung ist mir klar. Nur in diesem Kontext verstehe ich nicht: an wen werden Forschungen und Ressourcen weitergegeben? Wieso ist es wichtig an Wettbewerben teilzunehmen um Forschungen und Ressourcen weiterzugeben? Werden sie wirklich weitergegeben (pass sth, rely, hand over) oder passt das Wort gar nicht zum Kontext?
